Paint Protection Film (PPF)

A clear urethane film applied over your paint to absorb stone chips, sand and road debris — the damage a coating cannot prevent. Quality film is self-healing, so light scratches close up with heat. Most useful on the front-facing panels that take the worst of a Maritime highway. Read the full breakdown on our ceramic coating and PPF page.

Chrome Delete, Business Lettering & Vinyl Decals

Three things, all in vinyl. Chrome delete — blacking out window surrounds, grille trim and badges for a cleaner factory-blacked look. Business lettering — company name, phone number and logo on work vans and fleet vehicles, so the vehicle earns its keep while it is parked. And custom decals and accents, from racing stripes to one-off graphics. Vinyl is removable, so all three change how a vehicle looks without touching the paint underneath — which also means a leased or resale vehicle can be returned to standard.

Before booking, it is worth reading our six honest answers about chrome delete — including the trim condition that makes us talk people out of it.

Specialized Services Questions, Answered

What is paint correction, and does my car need it?

Paint correction is machine polishing that removes swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation from the clear coat rather than filling them in temporarily. If your paint looks dull under direct sun, or you can see fine circular scratches when light hits at an angle, that is correctable. It is also the necessary first step before any ceramic coating — a coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so correcting first is what makes the difference permanent.

Is headlight restoration worth doing, or should I replace the housings?

Restoration is worth trying first in almost every case. Cloudy, yellowed headlights are UV damage to the outer polycarbonate layer, not damage to the lens itself, so sanding and re-sealing the surface restores clarity for a fraction of the cost of new housings. It also matters more than people think: degraded lenses scatter light and measurably reduce how far down the road you can see, which is not trivial on unlit New Brunswick roads in winter.

Do you install customer-supplied dash cams?

Yes. The value of a professional install is the wiring — hardwiring to the fuse box rather than running a cable to the 12V socket means no dangling wire across your windshield, and it enables parking mode on cameras that support it. Call or text with your camera model and vehicle and we will confirm what is involved.

What is the difference between PPF and a ceramic coating?

PPF is physical protection against stone chips and road debris; ceramic coating is chemical protection against UV, road salt residue and etching, plus a hydrophobic surface that makes washing far easier. They do different jobs and are often used together, with film on the high-impact front panels and coating over the whole vehicle. Our ceramic coating and PPF page covers this in full.

What is chrome delete, and is it permanent?

Chrome delete is wrapping the chrome trim on a vehicle — window surrounds, grille bars, badges, mirror caps — in gloss or satin black vinyl, for the blacked-out look that would otherwise cost far more as a factory option. It is not permanent, which is the main advantage: the vinyl comes off and the original chrome is underneath, untouched. That makes it a sensible choice on a leased vehicle, or one you intend to sell to a buyer who may not share your taste.

Do you do business lettering and fleet vehicles?

Yes. Company name, phone number, website and logo on vans, trucks and service vehicles — a work vehicle parked at a job site is advertising to the whole street, and lettering is one of the cheapest forms of local advertising per year of use. Send us your logo and the vehicle’s year, make and model, and we will tell you what fits the panels and how it will read from a distance. We can letter a single van or a full fleet to a consistent layout.

Will vinyl decals damage my paint?

Quality vinyl applied to sound factory paint and removed properly should not. The risk cases are decals left on for many years in strong sun, and application over paint that is already failing or has been resprayed — in those situations removal can lift what is underneath. Tell us the vehicle’s history and we will give you a straight answer before applying anything.

Can these be combined with tinting or detailing?

Yes, and it usually makes sense to. Paint correction pairs naturally with detailing, and most customers having decals or PPF fitted are already having other work done. Booking them together means one visit rather than three. Call or text (506) 269-0981 and we will sequence the work properly — correction before coating, for instance, never the other way around.
